Lord Buddha

Its a great pleasure to listen to the lives of saints... but it is best to hear about a saint from a saint ... Because only a saint can truly realise the worth of another saint ...

Gurumaa often talks of Lord Buddha ... One of the many stories she tells

One evening Lord Buddha was preaching to his disciples , and a small girl came from somewhere and stood in front of him.
He asked her ... " Where do u come from?"
She answered " I know yet I don't know"

He then asked her ..." Where are you heading to?"
She answered " I know yet I don't know"

People around thought the girl was out of her mind and said so too
Lord Buddha smiled and said.... "she is the only sensible one among you all"

He then asked her "Why do you say that?"

She said ..."You asked me from where have i come ... i know i have come from my home , so i said i know"
" But i dont know where i came from , when i was born into this world, thats why i said i dont know"
"I know i am headed towards my home, so i said i know"
"But i dont know where i shall go after this life, thats why i said i don't know!"

Do we know where we come from and where are we heading to?
